Hey guys, just thought i'd give a brief update after having my 4th remicade treatment. I've definitely noticed a huge progress. My stool is finally consistently solid and normal. A lot less cramping, almost never actually. My body seems to tolerate foods that i hadnt been able to eat in a long time and actually digest it fairly normally. My fistulas improved almost immediately after the very first treatment in January. The pain and lumps are gone yet there's always some red blood in my stool still. That seems to be about my only complaint. In terms of side-effects, i think i've been fairly lucky. I've developed acne, mostly on my back, chest and shoulders, which is really annoying considering summer's here, and i love summer dresses, but the rest definitely outweighs this. One thing i must mention is how much juicing has helped me since the beginning of the year (just about as i began remicade). About 2 weeks ago however, i began not feeling so well... I have to admit i had been slacking on the juicing a little, so i shaped up and have been really giving it a go since last week. I honestly feel such an improvement since... it's crazy. So simple, so healthy... everyone should be juicing! I've also planted a garden, so i can have fresh veggies at all times this summer. Also want to give a shout out to Gianni for all the work he's put into this forum. Sooooo helpful and informative. Really appreciate it. A last little comment: i drink my juices through a straw... i feel like it could stain my teeth after a while. Was blessed with nice teeth, thought i'd protect them as much as i can. My dentist suggested some sort of pro-enamel toothpaste in addition, got nothing to lose. Wishing you all health. Take care :)
