Update - heading to surgery

Had my son's IBD clinic appt today and they think he will definately need surgery it's just a matter of seeing whether it will be simple or more complex depending on the MRI. I am praying for a simple op with minimal recovery!!
The paediatrician phoned the MRI department today and they managed to move it up to next week Tuesday.
Poor soul was not amused to have a blood test this morning as he hadn't expected it - at least they got it first time for a change!!
It's only 11 weeks until we go on our Mediterranean cruise for 12 nights so we are desperate for him to be better by then.

God, Sascot, I'd be taking a Stanley knife to that bugger by now. My adult daughter and I lanced her heel once...it was fun.

I'maboveitall - that's funny. Strangely enough I also enjoy lancing stuff! My mom was a GP so I have grown up in the medical world, so thankfully not very squeamish . She would have loved to get hold of him - she is still furious they have left him so long!!
