after driving the doctors crazy for the last year with my problems. mulitiple test, meds, and multi doctors and many trips to er for pain mangement i went home to Louisiana for the last three weeks to do some soul searching and get away from all the stress i have been under at my home with my wife and children and inlaws. since i have been in Louisiana i have only had a couple of days of pains and nasuea and nothing really bad. the worst i have been here is really fatigued for several days and joint pain while i was tapering off of some predisone. the last three weeks have gotten me back to where i havent been in nearly a year. i am doing fine with my meds and not really having much stomach pain and nausea going back home to virginia start tomorrow but i have a two day road trip back home first. i hope when i get home things are better and my stomach will stay settle down but i am wondering how long until im back in to a death spiral of pain and problems.

Afman- glad to here you are doing well (well-ish?). Try not to worry about the future too much. With Crohns, you know a flair will probably be in your future somewhere, but just try to live in the moment and be happy for what you have right now. That is the lesson I am trying to teach myself any way. Good luck!
