Phew, so glad that this is women's only
I was reading a different thread and something just clicked. Ever since I was diagnosed, everytime I get my urine tested they say I have a UTI, but I never have symptoms of it. Is this related to Crohn's? Does anyone else have a problem with never ending UTIs?
Another issue that I seem to always have, I am ALWAYS spotting. This also changed with the diagnosis, I have talked to my OB/GYN about it but they don't know what causes it, but I think I know what the source of my problems are now. Again, does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks everyone for any and all input, not sure if it should be addressed more thoroughly on my next women well check appointment or not

I've heard that Crohn's and UTIs are related, but I don't know how. I've read that it might just be because of the frequently diarrhea, but I don't remember where that information came from (it may have been someone on here) so I can't ensure that it's accurate.

I have UTI symptoms all the time. Kind of frustrating. :( I usually don't go to the doctor over it (I know, I know!) because often, it disappears within a few hours. Then I may be fine for a month before it comes back and maybe stays for a couple days… it's weird. Once it went on for months. I've heard that this can be related to endometriosis, which I'm showing other symptoms of, but I don't know if that would apply in your situation.

Spotting can also be related to endometriosis… which seems like the only thing I ever talk about on the Females forum. I'm probably not much help in this department, though. :(

Have you talked to a GI about these issues, too? I doubt they'd have any more insight than the OB/GYN, but since all of these things relate, they might have an idea. :)

Have you had seen a urologist? Have you had a vaginal ultra sound done. There are many reasons a woman can have frequent spotting or frequent UTI's.

Definately mention this at your next well visit if not sooner. A visit to the urologist and gyno wouldn't be a bad idea either.
