I have trave blood and leukocytes in my urine.I have been taking cipro for 4 days (not the right dosage) I was suppose to tak 1000mg not 50and I still ave trace findings. So you all think mecause I am immuno suppressed and take Imuran it may take longer? Now im worried about sepsis.

It's possible that's the reason, or maybe you need a different antibiotic, but if you have any worries you should definately call your dr. and let them know your concerns. I hope you feel better soon! *Hugs*

I would take the full dosage of Cipro the doc prescribed you, drink plenty of fluids (flushing the bacteria out actually helps more than anything), rest, and keep an eye on any backpain accompanied by fever(could mean it has spread to kidneys) or sudden syptoms. Keep your doc informed of anything new, but I would really try not to worry about sepsis and more "worst case" scenarios; it will only make you feel worse.
