Uveitis anyone?!

So I went to my regular doctor today - a major effort just to get my ass outta bed - no energy and flaring like crazy and he wants to send me to an eye doc. because he thinks I might have Uveitis from this wonderful Crohns - The last three mornings I have woken up and looked in the mirror my left eyeball is all red and sore....Do I f%$king need this?! I continue to flare and can not eat and I am so depressed - he upped my anti depressant but I know it is the crohns and if the flare would piss off the depression would piss off too...
I am trying to write English and History essays on top of this and I can work for about 20 mins. then have to lay down again - I HATE CROHNS!!! Okay, now I feel better...

hey, i know i'm a bit late posting on here but didn't see it before...anyway just wanted to say i feel for you!

Ugh, i had uveitis pretty much continuously for about 4 months before my crohn's was diagnosed. Sting-y eye drops on the hour every hour is not fun...

Did the doc give you anything for the eyes or just more anti-depressants?

I bet that felt good.
I've had red eyes from time to time. I think it's a common IBD side effect. Drink lots of water...could be dehydration too.
