woke up this morning to my right eye being blurry. If i close my left eye I can't decipher anything. This has never happened before. Going to an eye doctor this afternoon, hopefully its nothing too serious.

Hi afidz

Been worried about my eyes too, putting it down to pred causing extremely elevated blood sugars (I'm diabetic too). Have appt with eye specialist today.

Hope your appt goes ok, let me know what they say, good luck.

I'm sorry I haven't been on much and didn't see that anyone replied. My vision was getting better, actually it was great, I didn't have any problems, no pain no blurriness no swelling, and then I woke up 2 days ago with it swollen and blurry again. Went back to the opthamologist today, he just upped my eye drops, I will be on them for another month or so or until this gets under control.
If you are having problems with your eyesight don't chalk it up to Prednisone, it might be Crohn's manifesting in your eyes. Consider going to an opthamologist, because if not treated it can cause scar tissue and permanent damage to your eyesight

Do you have Iritis? I've been diagnosed with it and have been using eye drops twice a day regularily. If you're getting red eyes along with the blury could be another possibility...

Yea its Iritis, right now i am to do 6 drops a day (every 4 hours) except mondya of course because I will be in surgery

Sounded a little familiar. That's why I wondered. Hope all goes well for you on Monday. Got to admit that remembering to put the eye drops in isn't always easy. Good luck on that. Xxxxxx

It seems it was the elevated blood glucose causing my blurry vision, think it has settled down now. Good luck with the surgery on Monday. Take care.
