Violent tummy rumbles

I have started to have very violent tummy rumbles and pain, never really had his before does anyone else get it ?

my tummy gets so loud I'm surprised you don't hear it that side of the Pond.
I had a dreadful bout of rumbles, pain & non stop gas that kept me awake all night.

Well I did wonder what that noise was :ybiggrin: seriously tho it feels like i'm about to explode, a bit worrying really. feels like trapped large amounts of trapped wind.

Yah gurgling noises are so common with all IBS and IBD. I have a friend who has IBS we were watching movie and our tummies sounded like they were competing and then after the thunder comes the storm!! Just be hopeful your near a bathroom when it starts

Hmmm... they whole year prior to my recentest flare my tummy would rumble severely and embarrassingly in class and stuff, it was awful. When I told my sister she said, "we all have our hungrier times!" LOL nope it was that forming stricture in my colon.
I guess what Im trying to say is that if you are getting a stricture, the gas may build up and get these awful sounds. I will say this: post surgery I never get the rumbling noises.
Are you flaring right now? Could you be getting a stricture/blockage?

I have been lucky on the surgery front so far, only had 3 op's for abscesses don't think I'm flaring up at the moment, aza seems to work well with me. Lets hope its just gas !

I was lending support to a friend who was in the high court recently and my stomach started going on a mad rumbling excursion and just kept louder and louder. Person sitting beside me thought it was very funny. I had not been diagnosed at the time and I was a little bit concerned at the time I have to admit..

Since been on meds it has not really been as noisy as that day....
