I've gotten to the point of being far beyond fed up. Got my first appointment for the gastroenterology in a couple of weeks. I just feel fed up of being poorly constantly, having very little energy and being fatigued.
When examined by my GP I was told it feels like I do have inflammation. It hurts to touch with pressure, it hurts to lay on my stomach and it hurts in general but can be worse on the right hand side.
I mostly have diarrhoea but can have some formed stool that when it happens, I struggle to pass. When I pass any type of stool my bum physically hurts and stings. I get mucous every bowel movement. I do get blood but it's not every movement.
I'm already dairy free put of personal choice but have been for a while.
I'm so tired Constantly and have very little energy.
Before getting ill I was 11 stone and a half. I'm now 9 stone according to my scales.

One very fed up person. Does it sound like crohns or colitis at all?

Hello ShaniN and welcome to the forum! :)

Your symptoms sound familiar but Crohn's mimics so many other illnesses it's hard to say. Make sure you make a list of all of your symptoms even if it's joint pain, headaches, fatigue etc. Also make a list of all of your questions and concerns. I imagine they will want to do a colonoscopy and blood work but ask them to test all of your vitamin levels with your blood work so you can see if you're low or deficient in anything (your GP might be able to order the blood work as well along with checking for inflammation).

We have a section on the forum for undiagnosed members if you're interested in talking to other members who are in the same boat. You can find it here: http://www.crohnsforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=75

Keep us posted on how you're doing and how your appointment goes. :)

Thank you. Will do. I'm also suffering from head aches, mouth ulcers, constant hiccups and joint pain.
I'll be writing everything down.
