Finally spoke to my Specialists secretary today who told me that they have only just received a referral appointment for me this week even though it was put through 4 weeks ago when I was an inpatient. I explained to her that I'm struggling with my crohns right now and even when eating anything it just straight away causes pain in my stomach. I was given the IBD specialists nurses number where I had to leave a voicemail explaining whats going on, so hopefully I'll be able to get my appointment a bit quicker (but not keeping my fingers crossed as It's so close to Christmas) or at the very least they can offer advice.

Apologies for constantly complaining, my boyfriend and parents are very supportive, but I feel like I'm being a burden to them.

Fingers crossed, they done a CT scan when I was in hospital as the MRI machine was broken and I was told that an MRI was being scheduled to have a closer look, now I'm left wondering whats going on with that as well. I don't understand how it took 4 weeks for an appointment to reach them in the same hospital though.

Have heard back from IBD nurse who was really helpful. Coming off Prednisolone and moving onto Azathioprine with MRI appointment getting chased up to have a look and see if their is any strictures

Hooray for the IBD nurse. Mine is really great too. Hope you don't have to wait too long for the MRI and that you get some answers. It's a good test.
