Weird new symptom

The past week we have noticed Caitlyn having shaking of her hands on and off. Since Monday night it has been happening pretty consistently. Could this be a side effect of the methotrexate or prednisone?

I am shaky normally, but prednisone made it much worse.

It can cause an array of strange symptoms. My teeth became hot and cold sensitive. It did go away once I stopped taking it, but it took over a year.

The shaking went away pretty quickly.

I have sporadic light tremors. I suspect it is prednisone associated as I get them substantially more and more noticeably when I am on it. I am not even on high dose now (15mg) and I still notice it is more frequent than when I am off prednisone.

I know I'm probably stating the obvious when I say do talk to your daughter's doctor about this and get any other possible causes ruled out.

I think we often deal with so much in terms of various symptoms and side effects that it feels like this is just another thing - which it may well be but it's good to know it's nothing else!

Does your daughter have a fever?

A had trembling in her hands and legs due to an antibiotic. We continued using it and after a few days it subsided. I would definitely make the doctor aware though.

It stopped so I haven't called, I am going to discuss it with the new GI next week when we go.
