Well what to do next??

I currently have no idea what's going on and neither do my doctors, the colonoscopy and endoscope they did were inconclusive but they showed something that they didn't know what it was, my blood test showed mild inflammation which they think has spread.

When I last went to see my doctor he said "he doesn't know what to do next" and completely took me off my meds and said "lets see what happens when you not on your meds" I just said "well you know the answer to that" FYI it's not good. The funny thing is after he said that he just kicked me out of his office(not literally) He keeps saying "there's nothing more I can do for you".

So now I'm back to square one What else can I do?? I'm having to "self treat" myself at home as I'm not bothering with my doctor anymore but I might contact my IBD nurse when I can.

I hate being back at square one

Oh my goodness!!! Sorry to hear what you're going through. :ybatty: Is there a possibility of getting a second opinion? I would think that if he admitted not knowing what else to do that he'd at least recommend someone who might.

It sounds like its time to find a new Dr. What is the "something they didn't know what it was"? What are your symptoms?

Thanks Cross-stitch gal I am trying to get a second opinion but no one has been recommended I've been asking but he won't say for some reason :yfrown:.

Yeah I think I do need to find a new Dr. the "something they didn't know what it was" well they still don't know which isn't helpful to me :yfrown:.
