So my biopsies came back acute,moderate,mild inflammation all the way up the colon. Some narrowing (I think by small intestine) and a fistula in my colon. My GI thinks the Humira will help and had alot of good results with it. She said my back and leg pain are from my flare. I will have basic blood tests along with TB test this week. Then I guess I start injecting. Im scared but a bit hopefull.

Thanks everyone for all your help...

LUV,
Mary

Oh She thinks my Hysterectomy 6 weeks ago disturbed my Crohn's and it got pissed off (so to speak).

Hi Mary, glad to hear you are getting some answers and on your way to feeling better! I completely understand about being afraid of Humira - I put it off for a year before things got too bad and I really had no choice. Lots of people here are on it, so we can try to answer any questions you may have, and of course, be sure you follow up with your doc regularly. I don't have a fistula, but I believe Humira is the way to go if you have one. All the best;

I'll be starting Humira for my arthritis in 4 weeks! I'm very hopeful that it will also help my (still undiagnosed) GI issues. I'll be a few weeks behind ya', but you're not alone in the journey. For the record, my real name is Mary but I chose to use my middle name when I saw you were already active. So, another Mary wishes you luck with the Humira and will be fast on your heels. :)
