A couple of weeks back I caught really bad flu, I am still suffering now.
I am currently so exhausted, the antibiotics upset my stomach and its still bothering me now.. Last night I had severe chest pains an I began putting two and two together and I realised I always get the chest and joint pain during a flare. I also tonight have found blister like spotty rash too so now I am almost convinced something is going on with my crohns!

Normally I'm not fortunate enough to notice the signs it just comes on so rapidly...

What kind of warning signs do you all get?

My warning signs are flu like symptoms that don't go away (body aches, fever off and on, joint pain, fatigue, diarrhea and nausea that comes and goes but no vomiting). If I don't get checked out soon enough these symptoms get worse along with some more severe stuff like vomiting and blood in my stool

If you want there's a thread here: http://www.crohnsforum.com/showthread.php?t=43033 that talks about general symptoms during a flare. I share both minor and severe symptoms in that thread as my flares are never really the same. Those flu like symptoms for me are the only thing that's been constant towards the beginning of a flare.

I have major stomach cramps, fatigue, diarrhea, chills and my bones/joints ache. Also my nerves get weird and little things are painful.

Thank you for the link to the other thread it's interesting to see just how much we all differ even though we are suffering the same disease, just emphasizes why this disease is so damn hard to control.

I think we all just 'know' when something isn't quite right I know that I usually know when it's time to give the nurse a call, I just worry more now having moved from the UK to the US and the financial strain I am causing, but then I remember you ant out a price on your health! :) thanks for your responses

What's your insurance Novice? Do you qualify for Medicaid or have you applied?

Edit: Also in some areas they have insurance for free (with a small co-pay for meds etc) for low income or even homeless individuals. Check with your local Social Services office to see if you qualify for anything. :)

I dot qualify for those no. My step dad earns a lot of money, but you can imagine he doesn't want to go to work for all his earnings to be spent on school fees as well as medical costs... Which right now is basically what's happening.

He is a good man, but every good man has his limits lol! Thanks for the advice though!
I do have a question not sure if you personally can answer it, I need to perhaps give them a call.
But the remicade, I saw you can get support for that, would I have to be in a low income for that too? :/

Thanks again! :)
