What does my colonoscopy report says?

Active multiple Tiny T.Ileum ulcers and everythematous nodular mucosa? Carcinoids,Crohnn"s?Tb.

Doctor said not to worry and nothing serious. I know doctor say such things to make a patient relax. A biopsy is done and the result is yet to come.

Doctor also found H. Pylori bacteria in my guts for which I am taking 2 antibiotics and another dug for curing ulcer. After taking the anti-biotics my diarrhea is gone and I am having hard stool now.

I was a completely fit person 6 months ago. I visited my home country which developing country. In the rural area the water and food was not good. But for that reason how can I have so many problem?

The colonoscopy report says o many things with the question mark? What does that mean? I have exams ahead and I am really frustrated.

The tiny ulcers, and cobblestone effect in the terminal ileum (erythematous nodular mucosa,) can be a finding of early stage mild Crohns Disease. The biopsies will clarify any cause. The 'question marks' mean that further investigation is needed to confirm any suspicions. I would tend to agree with your Doctor's comments.

Thanks for your reply., the Biospy result gave a negative result. Doctor said I don't have Crohn. But since I traveled under-developing country he also took a Tb culture test for the intestine. He said it will take up to 6 weeks to get the result.

Now My question is, why did not he get the Tb result by biospy. Or he already found it positive and doing the culture test to find the right type of it? It would be great if you could explain. I am really tensed.

I think you should have your GI explain this so you feel you have answers...that is always what makes me nervous, no answers. Any good doctor understands this.

I know they think it's comforting to not go into too much detail, but I NEED the details-once I understand I feel better. Hang in there, sorry I don't have any more info for you.

I know that we tested that with a skin test or an xray. So maybe Tb means something different? My Bx was negative for Crohns and yet I still have it. Found with an upper GI.
I dont reccomend the barium but, its a ggod Dx tool. If the Tb means something else let me know always up for learnig something new!

Yes This TB means tuberculosis culture test. The chances of getting crohn for me is less because my condition occurred suddenly because of travelling home country where bacterial infection for the newcomer is common. Currently I don't have any cramping, diarrhea or pain.
