Most of my doctors believe me to have Crohns disease which got me wondering, what's next? If i do indeed have crohns, what steps will be taken from there? Would i just be given medication or would i be put forward for more tests?

What happens once you are diagnosed?

I don't know which tests you have already done but many of us have an endoscopy to confirm we have CD.

And there are lots symptoms and lots of available treatments for CD. My guess is you are going to be prescribed the best that suit to you. Sometimes it works in a try-and-error way, so be patient. I think Maths is a science, medicine is not.

I hope you better soon.

Yeah, i've had both an endoscopy and colonoscopy which came back negative. I haven't received the biopsy results as i was supposed to go over them with my doctor on the 16th.

I don't really like medication i try to avoid pain killers at all cost :(

Thank you :) my symptoms aren't as bad as some others as they didn't bother me until i got migraines. I think i'm going through a possible "flare up" for the past few days, not sure.

It is good to know you symptoms aren't that bad. If both an endoscopy and colonoscopy which came back negative you may have something less complicated than Crohn such as IBS.

My guess you can improve a little by balancing your diet. Don't be afraid of painkillers there are many, and some of them are very soft with no side effects.

I'm not afraid of them but don't like to take them all the time. I have a very weak immune system as i'm always getting cold and flus and other problems. I'm always being told pain killers and i would end up taking up all my life. I ended up building a tolerance for them and had to begin taking stronger ones which was annoying.

I was thinking about IBS but all my doctors seem certain it's an IBD. I guess i'll find out.
