These are the strains that are going to be available to me:

Purple Urkle, XWing, Glass Slipper, Sour Diesel , Super Lemon Haze and two higher CBD strains: Canna TSU and Harle TSU.

Im fairly new to cannabis, and i hear from a lot of people that CBD is the most important and from others that THC is...

So which one of these strains would you recommend it purchase tomorrow?

Check out leafly.com. You can input your disease and symptoms, and you can find a strain that will work. From there it's a matter of experimentation on which strain works the best. THC helps with pain, CBD with inflammation. The higher CBD will help slow your digestive tract and get to work on the inflammation. The cool thing is leafly will tell you the approx CBD/THC of those strains. Good luck! Wish I could choose what I get :(

So I use to use cannabis for reliefe years ago, but i started getting very anxious and panicky everytime i used. So I stopped. Does anyone know of a strain that does not make you as anxious but still effect with the type of crampy crohn pain?

You have to experiment and read up on with the strains. Worst for your lungs is to smoke it in a joint. You can vap, or you can make brownies or other baked goods or oil in capsules the Rick Simpson way. Ingesting is more a body stone, opiate effects. Vap can be motivational depending on the strain. Once you have tried all of these methods and strains out let me know what you prefer and we can compare notes
Oh BTW
Check out leafly.com. You can input your disease and symptoms, and you can find a strain that will work.
I think this is a load of crap.

If you check out a strain called 'Chocolate Chunk' which is an indica strain 1:1 ratio of THC : CBD
Best for anxiety , anti stress and muscle relax

If you go to the THSeeds web site you will see that they are advertising
SAGE CBD and La SAGE CBD as the ones that have the 1:1 ratio of CBD/THC
not Chocalate Chunk which they say is 100% Indica derived from Kush heritage
I have tried Pineapple Chunk from barneys farm, it is a good one.
Enjoy

Yes Rick i saw a few like you said above in addition to Hogs Breath which some have differences in the thc:cbd for some symptoms but for anxiety and panic attacks in particular , along with muscle relaxants.
I intend to try them all lol
Cheers!

The auto flower ones are by default higher in CBD as they are basically derived from the ruderalis stain. Good luck with your testing :)
from wiki
C. ruderalis is traditionally used in Russian and Mongolian folk medicine, especially for uses in treating depression.[5] It is not advised to use pure C. ruderalis as a recreational drug because of the low THC content

Thanks for the link, MmeMagpie. I like how they list the THC/CBD ratios. I'm using an oil that's 10% THC, 17% CBD, and I'm wondering if a lower THC content would work. And if I went with 2% or less THC would it still be effective, and would I be able to pass a drug test. (15 nannograms/ ml) ?

I guess I should answer the question instead of asking one. start with a balanced ratio and adjust as necessary. For me, during the day the higher the CBD the better, with low to moderate THC. At night I sometimes use a high THC sativa oil to help me sleep, and it's great for pain. I don't use it daytime 'cause it gets me too high. (my teenage self is laughing at me for saying that!) Going to try a new ratio- 1% THC/20%CBD. Should be here next week. If you're interested, reply and I'll let you know. I find ingesting it works better than smoking, and I like oil. Hope this helps.Pete

I prefer ingesting high-CBD cannabis oil. I try to get the highest CBD percentage possible, with the lowest THC percentage possible, but not necessarily zero THC. I have also read that CBD and THC are complementary in their therapies. I try to get at least 50% CBD and not over 25% THC (maximum 2:1 ratio, in other words). I've had 70% CBD and 5% THC before, and that was quite nice. Of course these percentages are based on the local lab results. My state is just beginning to regulate the labs so we should see more consistency in content reporting.

Interesting note: I've seen a high-CBD strain produce a higher THC to CBD ratio in an oil. There is a lot about the plant's properties we don't yet understand, so the chemical processing adds a whole new deck of wild cards to the equation.

And there's always the option of blending your tinctures and/or oils to get the ratios. Just because one plant isn't quite right doesn't mean you can't science the shit out of this :)

I would make sure it has some THC in it. I tried a very high CBD oil from Colorado, and it had no noticeable effect on me. The one-to-one I am using now, that was prescribed by my doctor in NY, is definitely having an effect on me.

i have learned from trial and error that no one strain causes the same effect from person to person. as a rule indicas cause less anxiety. how you medicate is also something to " play around with". i have tried several different ways but always end up going back to the old stand by...smoking a joint. for me.. vaping hurt my lungs bad and i am also a cigarette smoker. so if you are ever told that one way is the best way just remember that it is the best way for that person but may not work for you....and the more they study this wonderful plant the more they learn what it can do...doctors have no problem trying this med and that...now its my turn to try this and that to see what works best
