I am trying to get my health affairs in order and got to wondering...what types of doctors does everyone have that help in dealing with crohn's or it's manifestations?
I currently have a GI, my General Practitioner, a Psychiatrist (for anti-anxiety meds/periodic evaluations) and am looking for a new Dentist (which makes me nervous because I have yet to deal with a dentist since crohn's and I don't know how complicated of a process having a dentist and crohn's will turn out to be since there are a few things I KNOW I should get done/evaluated with my gums and teeth).
I used to have a psychologist/counselor (for generalized anxiety), an Opthamologist (for uveitis) and a Dermatologist who helped me deal with acute symptoms in the years prior to diagnosis which I believe now were more likely than not underlying signs of crohn's disease.
