whats the difference?

I've seen on here that some people say they have crohns and others say its crohns colitis. whats the difference? Just curious, thanks :)

Crohn's colitis is Crohn's Disease that is found in the colon. There are people that do have both Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis though.

Yeah, since Crohn's disease is present in the small bowel in most cases (although not necessarily LIMITED to the small bowel), and Ulcerative Colitis is always limited to the rectum and colon, they use the term Crohns Colitis for those who have Crohns disease that is limited to the large bowel like UC, and it often behaves like it - like passing lots of blood for example, which is less common with small bowel disease.
