When do you take Imuran?

Hi-
I just started on Imuran this week (50 mg), and have been taking it in the evening with food, a couple of hours before bed. I was just wondering when everyone else takes it, to try and figure out the best time.
I've been feeling some nausea during the day since then, but nothing too bad.

I take mine in the morning with a breakfast drink. For no particular reason - just so I remember I guess. I haven't had any nausea.

I take mine after food... 3 times a day (50mgs). I think it was recommended to take with food. Not aware of any particular side effects, do feel nausea sometimes, but not sure if it's side effects or the disease.

I take mine at lunch time. I recently upped my dosage from 100 mg to 150 mg and I have since experienced mild nausea as well. Generally after I eat.

Interesting Agent X. I just read your post. I was told to take mine all at once, but you take yours at different times? Anybody else have input on this?

I take 125mg every morning with breakfast and haven't had any issues with it.

Interesting...I take mine at 3 times over the course of the day as well...is that wrong?? Does it matter...it takes 3 months to work anyways...

I suspect the main consideration is whether it upsets your stomach. If you have no ill effects from taking once a day it probably doesn't matter

I've found that it affects my appetite or cause nausea, so I tend to take it before bed.

when you take it before bed do you take it with much food, or just by itself?
