I'm getting my first blood test since after my diagnosis last year. I can see on the script that they're checking for vitamins and some of the other tests listed, i'm not sure what they mean...

What is the name of the blood test to see if there is inflammation present? I've noticed Remicade has been helping, but I haven't had a scope to see to what extent, so I'm hoping these blood tests will be able to tell if there's inflammation...

Well, maybe it's CRP that they are checking? It's not that specific so CRP above the limit does not indicate active Crohn's but it could. My CRP even is within the healthy range when I am flaring. Stool tests like calprotectin might be more specific for checking Crohn's activity because it shows inflammation in the small or large intestine.
Was there a wall thickening visible by ultrasound? So that might be an idea to check for efficiency of Remicade as well, maybe you just ask your GI next time.
Crossing my fingers that everything is fine and Remicade is working for you!
