Which test would show something "stuck"?

Besides a colonoscopy, which tests/imagings would show a nut/food that's stuck? Or an abscess/obstruction?

Also, is it possible for something to be stuck and not have any symptoms?

Small bowel follow through, CT scan or MRI should be able to show an obstruction. You may have mild symptoms with a light partial obstruction but a full obstruction that doesn't resolve is an emergency. Symptoms can include excruciating pain, vomiting, fever, no stool or gas being passed.
