I am soooooooooooo tired of always coping with intestines that hurt so bad! Super Urgent bathroom trips, SPRINTING to the bathroom, swollen abdomen with colon spasms, low grade temp, blood, no blood, blood, nauseated, insurance not wanting to pay for meds...guess they decided I need to suck it up too...fatigue not even the right word for the exhaustion I feel. Yeah, it has been one of those kind of days, weeks, heck...let's just say episodes since January.

Grateful for many blessings, but these intestines sure aren't part of them...

Follow-up after the surgery today...my latest bleeding & excessive D he feels is from the surgery causing stress to the body if that makes sense. Extensive abdominal adhesions that was basically causing my colon and cecum to be stuck to my abdominal wall. Said also my small intestines are "plastered" by extensive amount of adhesions to my pelvic wall, but did not remove them because I don't have an obstruction at this time. I also am now anemic, so iron meds added to my never ending list...

Oh dear, no wonder you were having all those issues. Hopefully the surgery will have sorted them out and the iron meds might give you a bit more energy. Keep us posted on your progress x

We all have bad days, weeks whatever the important thing is to NOT give up there are so many good things in life to just quit.

I don't know if you are relgious or not but my faith has really helped me and prayer would I think would help.

Robertp, Yes I am a Christian, but I guess not a great testimony if I have to be asked. :/ It has been really difficult since January with, first the 4th hospital stay in 1 1/2 years, my mother passing four days after discharge, more new diagnosis', the recent surgery, a few other things that I will keep private...I have just felt defeated.

Most days I keep a smile on my face and keep my issues private. Here, I somehow feel safer to open up, to share with others that I am afraid I will burden my family and friends with.

Personally there has been nothing in your post to make me think you were not a Christian.
Believer or not these diseases are terrible, and can get very overwhelming. This is a great place to find people who know exactly what your going through.

I hope things level out and you feel better soon.
