I Recently received in the mail my blood work results.

I'm unsure exactly what it means since I haven't yet seen my doctor about it.

My white blood count said elevated "flag". I mean I don't think its that high since it said the normal range is until 11 and mine is 11.07. Does that even mean that anythings going on or not. It also said my Sedementaton rate is 18 out of 20 which I think is normal.

My glucose was also high, but that could be because before I went in I had a snickers bar!

Sorry for the post, I've just been curious and wondering if anyone has had a similar experience :) Of course if things are normal on blood work doesn't that mean that I will be fine? But it still doesn't explain why I'm in pain...:confused2:

Even if a lab result show's levels of only a point or two out of range, the labs are required to "flag" it to make your doctor aware of the situation as well as the potential risks of having/keeping levels out of range in hopes that your doctor will be able to address the matter as needed.

Here is info on sedimentation rate: http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/sedimentation-rate

I don't know what types of pain you are referring to so I can't comment on that, but I encourage you to talk to your doctor about your lab results and make sure you both understand what the results mean based on your condition and symptoms and what course of action may be necessary.

I hope you start to feel better soon!
