Hi all,
I had an appointment with my colorectal surgeon earlier this week and as I talked to him I realized that of all of the doctors and nurses that I have talked to he is the very best. He spent a lot of time with me answering questions and asking good ones in return. It seems like he understands how crohns works better then the GI docs.

I was just curious if you have found that to be the same. Who do you find to be the best for talking to and asking questions? The GI, GP, nurse or surgeon?

Just curious.

I had a chat with a colonoscopy nurse and she was great help about the effects on life with chrohns, I was very suprised how much she knew. My gi nurse is really good with that and any info too. I find doctors r willing to give technical info and are great for it but u do need to ask questions to get them talking

MY GI has a great staff, it's actually an IBD Clinic with soon to be two GI docs! When I'm there for my remicade infusion, everyone from my GI to the receptionist stop by to chat. All are great with questions and advice, so much so that I look forward to my next infusion and/or appointment!
