whole foods

Has anyone ever tried an all natural whole foods raw diet and if so has it helped. I have heard that drinking raw milk is way better for you. But it is illegal in my state. I do live about an hour from a legal place to buy It. I just don't want to have to drive an hour to buy milk every day.

I gave up dairy long ago so I can't tell you about raw vs other milk. I do believe that whole foods are easier on our bodies to digest than processed foods, so I try to say away from processed as much as possible. If I do eat something with a label, I try to stick to four ingredients or less, and no wheat products.

Has it helped? Not really, but I feel better eating this way and it really helped to combat the pred weight gain by not eating processed foods.

I like the corn/quinoa blend pasta, though it has a very distinct corn type flavor. If I really feel like "cheating" I go for the Barilla Plus (yellow box) pasta. It does have whole wheat flour in it, but also a lot legume flours and other good stuff, plus it's crazy high in protien and fiber and I like that for my son.

Oh, I do cheat on one other product and that is rice cheese. I like it better than soy cheese and my son LOVES the mac and cheese I make with it.
