Why so long on the loo?!?!

Hi all,

Just wondering if there's any reason us Crohnies take soooooo loonnngggg on the toilet? For example I've just spent over an hour on there, but my husband is done in 2 minutes? I get urgency to go and it starts as soon as I get there, but it just doesn't seem to stop for ages!

We're the other way around, I usually take less than a minute and my healthy hubby takes 40 minutes!

Well, for me I can tell you why. Even on REmicade and Imuran the dr could not get the scope through my small/large intestine junction. So I have a lot of trouble pushing through that area and sometimes briefly "pass out" on the loo due to push effort. Other times its a 2 minute explosion. Most times now it is much, much longer.
