Will Pentasa help skin problems?

I'm not sure if this should be posted in this thread or the extra-intestinal thread, but anyway...

Will Pentasa help Crohn's-related skin problems? I just started taking it and was wondering if it might help the little rash/bumps I have had on my elbows for quite some time now.

If your rash is Crohn's related then once you bring your intestinal inflammation under control your EIM's should resolve as well.

Do have gluten sensitivity as well? A rash with raised bumps on the elbows is often a sign of Coeliac.

Thanks for replying, Dusty. That's interesting. I'm back and forth on the gluten sensitivity issue. I've tried eliminating gluten and not much seems to change - sometimes. Other times I've eliminated it and I definitely have more energy. I seem to recall being tested for the celiac 'whatever it is' via bloodwork but it came back normal.

Who knows?!
