I've noticed most of the times I'll only make a significant post if something is going wrong with my life and I need to moan. Time for some happy news.

I <3 Entocort! In just under 6 weeks I've gone from a point which couldn't have been much worse to feeling on top of the world. My pain especially has significantly improved, so much so that I decreased pain relief from Fentanyl patches to the occasional Tramadol (well the max dose but better than being on Fentanyl!). I mean I still have to run to the bathroom but it's becoming much less of a problem. Don't really feel nauseous at the moment and haven't had any side effects really from the Entocort itself either. I still feel pretty tired but can't have everything and it's nice to nap sometimes. Iron and B12 is getting worse but hoping to fix that.

I realise Entocort isn't a forever fix but I'm going to enjoy feeling good whilst it lasts. Finding a long term medication isn't so good at the moment but I'm sure that will turn itself around. :D

Anyone else have any great things going on for them at the moment? Share. :D

That is *great* Natalie - I'm so glad you are feeling better. The main good thing I have going on (which I've posted too many times already ;o) is that this skin rash I've been trying to clear for the last 6 months with antibiotics is clearing nicely since I started pred a few weeks ago. It's nice not to be so darn itchy.....

Hope your feeling good continues into the new year!!!

That's Great news Natelie. That's what we all hope to see happening to everyone here.

One person at a time.

Thanks everyone! :D I was told I can continue the Entocort for a few months yet. Buys me some time atleast. It has been so much better than pred. No moon face atleast.

I'm supposed to be having a capsule endoscopy soon, but it's not scheduled as yet. I've exhausted pentasa and pretty much all the immunosuppressants, so the GI I currently see is trying to figure out whether I'd be granted NHS funding for Infliximab or something similar. Not sure how it will go though, not too worried at the moment.

Hope you all had a great Christmas, nice to hear some positives from other people too. Praying for good health for everyone here as we approach 2010.
