Ok- so what's up with the gut flora?
I keep trying periodically with the reintroduction scheme and have given up in dis(gust).
I eat a little bit of yoghurt- Mr Windy comes a'knockin.
I try a probiotic capsule- the pain, the smell the misery of it all for days. The pain in my poo pipe and gut is eye watering and I walk like I've been riding the range for far too long. Even my pet dogs move room due to it's roadkill like smellaciousness.

Why is this? Does my body just reject good bacteria? Answers please. I used to love eating greek yoghurt. Somethings missing in my life without this little pleasure. Moreover I want to know the science behind it.
Cheers- El Dacko.

That's amazing that you've been able to move around that much. I have a struggle driving 20 miles to work. I know where every restroom is along the way. I think Cit is correct; our food is breaking us down. I do feel better when I completely cut sugar out of my diet. I don't seem to have too many troubles with other food, with the exception of raw cruciferous veges, even though I dearly love them.

Thanks Princess Mom- I travelled a fair bit when I was younger. Different story now with the UC kicked in. I haven't worked in six months- long service leave at half pay has helped by giving me time to rest the body. Yeah- my diet is good. Very small amount of processed food.- emergency falafel and dolmadakia with my olives and gherkins is about it. I even grow a bit of our own fruit and veg at home. My partner makes her own pot set yoghurt- and fresh almond milk for me. We did go to Spain etc a few months ago- anxiety about being near a toilet is exasperating. Almost crapped myself in some beautiful locations though. I normally travel by motorcycle and every pocket has tissues! I have an eagle eye for protective trees to hunker behind when needs be.

Sounds like you have a great life apart from this crappy (LOL!!) disease. How old are you anyway? I'm guessing about 42. You've been to a couple of places I'd really like to go to; Israel, Spain...soon I'll retire from work and those places will be on my bucket list.
Right now I'm waiting to get my first dose of Humira. I'm thinking it will really help!:rof:
