    We have a Treatment Plan!

Hi. I know you took her to Emory recently. I was just with someone (an adult) who was reviewed by an interdisciplinary group there that only sees undiagnosed patients who can't get answers elsewhere. Evidently you need to be a complete mystery and need a referral. Could they have these groups...

    We have a Treatment Plan!

I've been praying. Please tell me there is some progress??? This is all so wrong. I see where your daughter gets her tenacity and strength. You. Hang in there. I think I might be within driving distance and I'm so tempted to drive to those drs' offices and try to help you get something going...

To go to the hospital or wait?

I'm sorry. Please do call and let us know how it goes. I know 6 hours is an awful car ride for someone so sick but at hospital she would be seen by different disciplines right away.

    Epiduo gel for acne

Hi. My son used it with no issues. I pretty much freaked out and didn't want him to have it because he has flared with antibiotics and / or painkillers after a leg surgery. No problem at all though. It is very very effective. There is a new version called Epiduo Forte that works even better.

    Drugs in the pipeline

I think there is some later data that hasn't been published. I'll ask. Hang on!

    Change in flavor of food...

I'm so sorry she (and you) are dealing with so many challenges. She is lucky to have you as her mom helping her walk through it all, one day at a time. I hope to hear things turn in better direction with appetite and depression.

    Drugs in the pipeline

Great! Boehringer Ingelheim IL 23 is the one I'm hearing a lot about professionally. I posted and several forum members replied they didn't think there was anything good coming. I'm glad you found this article to give some detail. Let's hope...

Parents of Pre-Teens and Teens with IBD

Hi Katrina9. I don't have advice but do want to send some support. The school decision is so tough. My son is doing well now but the time when he wasn't and we had to look at options is fresh on my mind. He was sent back to hospital before school started one year and all he could ask was when...

    Humira every 5 days

Mlp, did it work? And yes, humira formula is available outside US. I know someone who tried to get it for themselves while vacationing in Europe but there was not enough time to get approvals and schedules. Maybe there is a market for medical tourism to get it? I'm happy to chaperone the first...

One day life is hard the next day, unfreakingbelievable

Tots, I am so so sorry. Please feel free to share here any time you need to. I know more about pancreatic cancer than I want to know and I'm sure there are many others here who will listen and help if you want. I'm sending good wishes and prayers your way. Waiting to hear an update. Sorry.

Transfer to adult GI and possibly stopping meds?

Hi Sascot. I'm late to this but had to weigh in. My son only takes omazpozale, uses SCD militantly and gets at least 30% of calories from formula (after many months of steroids and EEN). He is a year post clean scope and biopsy. HOWEVER...at his most recent appt, even after good labs and FCP...
