Mister FiveOh and I are new to this forum. He's got the Crohn's and I've got IBD and Celiacs. We both have a host of other issues related to the conditions, but Mister Five has delegated myself to be the main poster since he's rarely ever online.
Recently we've been experiencing more and more issues at night with Mister Five's gut. He's been going longer and longer between serious flare-ups, which is great and most of the time he's healthy as a horse during the day in the periods when he's not hibernating, but when the sun goes down it's a different story as of late.
I've had to change the sheets twice already this week (usually only about once a week do I have to normally) and he's running out of clean laundry. He already gets up 3+ times a night to use the facilities (we don't get very much sleep unfortunately), but neither of us knows what more to do. He's already on about 25+ different medications for various things, none of which seem to help the issue. It really is a 's**tty' situation for all (pardon the pun, haha), as he likes to say. Edit: I might mention that, both of us are in our late 20's/early 30's in case that might be pertinent.
I really do kinda feel bad for the big guy, as I love the crap out of him (pun not intended)- but we're kind of at wit's end. Anybody else in a similar situation that can share advice/got a solution to our problem?
Update: As I am typing this, Mister Five just messaged me. He may be having a serious medical issue (semi-unrelated to the problem, I'm not going to go into detail here). Prayers would be appreciated. The last time he had this issue, it was bad and required surgery and hospitalization. I can't get to him right now as I am the sole shift officer in charge and there's nobody to fill my position. He said it's not too bad yet, but if I have to I'll risk it (my job) for the biscuit (Mister Five). He's my world.
