    Lucy gets ulcers in her mouth from methotrexate quite a bit I find bonjella helps , they generally clear up in about 7 days

    Thanks everybody bloodwork came back fine, he's a little underweight but height wise he is 95th percentile - doc not concerned back in three months unless something worries in the meantime. No sign of any fissures so hopefully I'm just on high alert because of Lucy

    We have had to hold Lucy's shot twice due to infection, both occasions I got bloodwork and sent to GI for decision on whether to hold or not, bloods were repeated 5 days later on both ocassions and we were good to go.     That's a good idea but as we don't have a lab that runs the test (something is telling me GI centre sends them to Scotland), I don't think the gp will be able to but it's worth suggesting.

    Penicillin.

    Mtx can interact with penicillin but Lucy has had it a few times now and no problems. Your pharmacist should alert you to the potential risks and also run it by your GI.

    Lucy has been on humira since June 2013, the injection hurts a lot ice helps, she generally needs lots of cuddles afterwards. Hope it goes ok the first one is the worst it gets much easier after that. Hugs
