I would say Yerba Mate as well... although it does have a form of caffeine, I can drink it in the evenings and still get to sleep at night. Try it and see if you like it!

I've done it! Like others have said, though, best to get to a doctor... You're going to get REALLY dehydrated if you are pooping and puking simultaneously.

Misty - Just to clarify, Paracetamol IS Tyelnol/acetominophen. misfit_kt- Tylenol is our best bet to take. Avoid Advil (ibuprofen), Aleve (naproxen), and Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid). If Tylenol isn't cutting it for your pain, ask your doc. What were they giving you in hospital?

I realised I might have more side effects than the injection site reactions I mentioned above. It is true, I had more colds this winter than any previous years... That might have to do with the H. I also posted about another side effect, sensitivity to the sun.

Oh god, that sounds horrible. Ouch. I hope you get off the pain meds and on to some proper Crohn's meds, otherwise, things just aren't going to get better.

Hey Humirites... Last summer was my first summer on Humira. I noticed last summer, I got sunburnt more easily. I was very good about wearing sunscreen when I noticed the extra sensitivity. Prednisone also made me really sensitive to the sun, btw. We've had a few really sunny days recently...

Swirl - I'm right there with you. The pharmaceutical companies are making SO much money off of us. Off of EVERYONE, for that matter! I'm sure there's a lot more 'they' could be doing for IBD, and other things - lower cost medications - heck, even a CURE... but not in this lifetime. Not...

Acetaminophen is OK... aspirin is not. There are different formulations of Excedrin; if your bottle has just acetaminophen and caffeine you should be OK.
