    Imuran/Azathioprine/6-MP Support Group

I was on Imuran, 200mg I believe for at least 7 or 8 years. Recently stopped taking it because the side effects were just too much for me. The constant itching if I was ever out in the sun drove me bonkers. I am seeing my specialist today about switching up the medications.

I would love to get back on it however! I would say 2 Remicade infusions is better than no infusions and going straight to surgery. Give it...

    Mom of Crohn's Adult Son

Welcome! I was diagnosed when I was about 12 years old and I know it was very very hard for my parents to cope with their son having a life long disease. They tried to understand what it was like for me, and try as they might, they just could not begin to understand how it is. To read is one...

    Hi from a college student!

Hi ya'll. My name is Adam and I'm from near St. Louis. I am 23 now and was diagnosed about 10 years ago. Started with the usual symptoms and then a colonoscopy and diagnosis. I'm on a variety of meds, and my symptoms are mostly under control. I would say I have a successful life post diagnosis...
