Ice tea causes my guts to ache. I'm on pred right now so D isn't an issue but I bet when I am off of it then ice tea will give me D.

Yeah for me I am down to 20mg (4tabs). But once I reach 2 tabs (10mg) then my tapering gets slower...1.5 tabs, 1 tab, 1/2tab, then stop. This is my first time on prednisone so I am hoping this is a good tapering pace. Eeeeeek

I am new too, both to this forum and diagnosis. I know how hard it is to function and cope with this disease. And the learning curve is crazy. Try to keep you head up and focus on the blessings in front of you...my children give me strength and keep me going. Take care of yourself.

I have no idea what my vitamin d level was. I see my GP tomorrow so I will ask. I know they tested my B12 but wasn't told to take that supplement so I am assuming that was at an okay level. I know my iron was extremely low.
