    Jobs??

I am an accountant. High levels of stress right now. Probably closing the company I work for in a month or so. I have worked full time with lots of overtime, raised 3 children, and maintained a fairly active social life (there are times I am a couch potato, tho). I help my hubby run his...

Will I fall apart each time there is a flare?

I am in my late 40s and my mom still "falls apart" if I have a major flare. The mini-flares now just upset her. I have been dx'd for 20 years. I think it is natural. You do get better at understanding and decision making. Wendy

    Chloe's current LDN success story

LC- Great news. I love Boswellia. I use Angstrom liquid iron. I taste horrible but it works for me. It is an ionized iron 'water'. It is extremely absorbable. It has really helped me. Good luck and good health! Wendy

    Natural Treatment

mmoors, It takes a combination of natural treatment, diet, and a dash of Spiritual treatment in my humble opinion and experience. The Spriritual side is along the basis of acceptance, patience, and healing old emotional wounds. Yoga and meditation help the process. Boswellia is my preferred...

    Great...Now I'm FAT!!!???

Misty- I experienced something similar on 6mp. The weight gain was scary. The weight gain decreases but when I stopped 6mp....Niagra Falls look out. I pee'd a lot. I do this with Prednisone, too. Running to the potty every 30 minutes or so. I really think you need to get the blood work...

    Is remission possible?

Yes, Lowone, there is a remission. I have spent most of my life after the diagnosis in remission. I am there now. I have raised 3 beautiful children, maintained a career, traveled, laughed, played, and pretty much enjoyed my life. It takes effort to achieve remission and one plan does not...

    Remicade and Creatine

twob- my nephew came very close to needing a liver transplant from taking creatine. Definitely stick to the organic protein. The chemicals in the mainstream powders are unbelievable. Wendy

Being a Mom during a flare...

I remember those days. My kids are grown and no longer live with Mommy. They are now my "caregivers" when needed. They pitch in and help. If one of the boys calls me and I sound the least bit yucky, they want to drop everything and bring me "something". A couple of years ago, the three of...

    My mom really said it...

I really cannot believe what my mom just said to me. She told me I had to learn to not let my job get to me. I am so over being told I should not have emotions and feelings. I think I will go off if one more person tells me to calm down or get over it. Ugh. I would not have Crohn's if I just...

    Plan from the new doctor

Stephanie- I think that is a good plan. L-glut is very healing and if taken on an empty stomach helps stop the big D. Probiotics really help me as long as I eliminate certain foods. Really and truly, the symptoms will not calm down until the digestive system is happy. I came off of the...
