Crying and lost: HUMIRA injections, or Remicade infusions?

Hi there, thank you for the info re Entyvio. It looks like that is not an option as it has never been suggested, only the other two. I shall certainly ask my Consultant whenever I need to see him. :rosette1::duh::rosette1:

Crying and lost: HUMIRA injections, or Remicade infusions?

Hi there, thank you. I shall ask about test for antibodies to both before I decide which one. At the moment, I am reasonably well and able to eat. I have been told I can wait until it becomes more imminent. However, if I start to feel uncomfortable on a daily basis then I will phone my...

Crying and lost: HUMIRA injections, or Remicade infusions?

Hi there, feeling really upset. Asked to go back on Remicade infusions as Crohns is active again, after 2 and half years remission. Said no to Humira injections as my hair came out and I felt miserable, probably giving myself injections contributed to that! I ended up in hospital for three...

    Failed Remicade: Treatment Options

Hi there, interested to hear your side effect was tightness in the chest. I ended up in hospital for three weeks with a lung infection, on oxygen, very scary. I have been asked to go back on it as my inflammatory markers are sky high. Don't know what to do. Best of luck.

    Failed Remicade: Treatment Options

Hi there, I would try Humira and see how you get on and how effective it is. I too had a bad side effect to Remicade after some time so had to come off it. I was on Humira injections for some months but had one side effect with me, viz, thinning of hair which stopped growing. Wishing you well.

Different from one day to the next

Hi there, I ended up in hospital for three weeks with a lung infection because of it! They could not clear it with antibiotic drips, so I was taken into theatre for a scope. That is why I am so afraid to go back on it. I was on oxygen and in a lot of chest pain. Remicade does have strong...

Different from one day to the next

Hi there, I was on that for about 5 months but it did not work well for me and left me feeling miserable and sick, with hair loss. I am glad it is o.k. for you. I love to go a long walk too especially out in the countryside, alongside a river, listening to the sounds. It is very therapeutic.

Different from one day to the next

Hi there, it is like that, isn't it? I think we sometimes push ourselves too much when we feel o.k. then suffer for it the next day. I now know to go and rest when I tire. In the past , I would go on , find my balance going and that has resulted in me having accidents and broken legs from...
