GI has never ordered bloods or stool sample, is this odd?

When I saw her last, before my colonoscopy, for my CT results, she was still insisting IBS that was April 29th. She has been insisting it since last year in July when she did her first scope, and found inflamation, but the biopsies showed negative for anything. And I didn't get those results...

GI has never ordered bloods or stool sample, is this odd?

I had bloods done in like 2013 last, yes she has access to all my medical records. My GP ordered stools back in 2013 as well, but he was looking for bacteria and parasites, not a faecal calprotectin test. I see her again on June 11 so I guess I'll have more answers then. Thanks everyone :D

GI has never ordered bloods or stool sample, is this odd?

So I have been seeing my GI for just over a year now. Through the whole time, she has been insisting IBS, I had a scope done on May 7th, and I have active colitis in my terminal ileum. The whole time I have seen her, she has never ordered bloodwork or stool samples, but insisted it was IBS. Is...

    Colonoscopy. Need advice please.

Hey Crohns11 I had a scope with propofol done last week. It was a light sedation, and I came out of it very fast. I remember the anasthesist standing just above my head and to the left and he was putting it in very slowly. My only complaint was the burning feeling as it went up my vein. other...

My Boyfriend Keeps Putting Me Down...

Dump his ass and send him packing! You don't need that kind of crap. He is NOT a nice person. I have been with my hubby for 18 years this summer, and not once EVER has he commented negatively on my looks. From being 140 lbs, all the way up to 227 lbs and then back down again. If someone is only...

Really struggling, no end in sight, still no answers :(

UPDATE: Had a really bad attack last night, was on the toilet with a bucket for my face in case I puked. I honestly thought I was gonna die. Went and saw my family doc this morning, and he looked up the results of my CT scan on my small bowel. He looked quite serious and called me over to the...
