I'm currently taking Mutaflor probiotic. I don't know if its helping yet or not as I only started it 2 weeks ago at the same time as humira and steroids so who knows which one will help me! fingers crossed!
i've been having pain for the last few months on my lower right side also, often severe. It is due to inflammation of my ileum. I try to watch my diet which helps- avoiding anything wholegrain/seeds/raw veg. If i over indulge the pain gets a lot worse. Im currently on prednisone and just started...
i took my loading dose last week and I have so far had no side effects at all. Yay! It is hard getting 4 shots at once and it does sting but it is over with so fast and then it will soon be only 1 every 2 weeks. Good luck!
what an awful ER experience. It shows how people can be so ignorant when it comes to invisible illness! i was recently diagnosed with Crohns after being not listened to/misdiagnosed for years, so I know how you feel. I would tend to suffer from the consitpation rather than D side of things, so...
okay i don't have nausea so i don't think its an obstruction, just being a bit paranoid. Day 4 tomorrow and I'm really sick of it! Thanks guys for the advice :) people are wondering why i am being in a bad mood because i just feel so uncomfortable!
i usually try the tea and that does help but nothing this time! i may try a black coffee tomorrow and hope for the best! Funny that you say it is happening you on the steroids also... might have to ring the doctor tomorrow
3 days now, i know it doesn't seem that long but i am in agony! I don't really have time to go to the doctor due to starting the new job so hopefully if i watch my diet things might get better. I'm worried i might have an obstruction but don't think i am in enough pain for that (never had one...
starting a new job tomorrow and I have had the worst constipation for the last 3 days. I feel so awful and uncomfortable! Has anyone any advice on how I can make myself feel better? Worried to take laxatives in case i get the opposite!
how nice of you to post here with your concern! As everyone is so different it is almost impossible to tell but something that I eat a lot of as a treat is an english scone or a bland-ish muffin.
Hi, I'm suffering from very bad fatigue since when i was diagnosed earlier this year. I've had my blood done and Iron/b12 and everything is ok. Does anyone know what might be causing the tiredness? Currently just on prednisone and pentasa. Thanks :)
I am just 2 weeks finished my 6 week course of prednisone (starting on 60G reducing down by 5g for 6 weeks) and I did not have any side affects other than an increased appetite (its pretty big to begin with anyway!) and minor sleep disruptions. It isn't a seriously high dose so hopefully you...
