1st Surgery due to GI issues

So I am still currently undiagnosed, but the other day I had a hemroid pop up out of no where. I went to see my primary care doc. And she said it had to be removed, but also said it is a good thing because they are going to want a colonoscopy done. This means I can finally get a diagnosis. There still isnt a date set but I will keep you all updated. Oh has anyone ever had this surgery? and if so how long was the recovery time? Thank you my friends

I have a friend who had this done. His recovery was just a few days. His was the size of a quarter so I'm sure the size of it and what all they have to do makes a difference.

I don't have any advice with the surgery, but I wish you luck!

Also, I hope that colonoscopy can be set up soon, so you can get some much needed answers!

That's how I ended up getting diagnosed. They removed what I called hemorrhoids but they called skin tags and the pathology report showed signs of Crohn's. They then sent me for many other tests to confirm, i.e. small bowel meal, colonoscopy, blood tests.
