25 years of multiple pills, injections, infusions and allergic reaction. Are there potential long term damages from these medications?

Can’t believe the toll this disease has taken on me. 41 years of age. My ex is fighting me for custody of my 11 year old. I am angry and depressed and have no real future. My parents are still alive and they try to help. I am on SSI. How do I start to turn my life around.

Hi. I am sorry all you are going through. You have come upon a great support group. Answeing the title, i think some medications may have long term side effects and some are short. I hope your doctor can get you on the right medicine to put you in remission and the rest of your life can turn around.

Just my opinion but, a fecal transplant might turn your life around if you can find a healthy donor. Also, there is more of a risk of the disease killing you before the meds ever will.

Sorry to hear your troubles. I’ve had this disease since I was 6. I’ve had depression since I was a teenager. I would suggest dealing with the depression. Are you working with a Psychiatrist? It took a long time to get my depression under control. Once I did everything else got easier
