2nd infusion bowels feel crap

Hey guys had my second infusion of remicade had a rash during the infusion and had to stop and start again.

Now its 24hrs later and my bowel hurts constantly feel like I need the toilet and just feel unwell and been pooping funny stuff like seeds and thick mucus also had bit of water leaking out.

But yeah guts hurt and constatnt need to go to toilet and have headcahes

Also feel gassy/bloated

Forgot to mention they gave me some hydrocortizone as a pre-med before starting the infusion could this just be a reaction to the cortizone going to see GI after holidays as he's away see what he has to say

Hi Boza,
Sorry to hear you are having a bad time with the belly. If it helps, my belly didn't start to settle down until after the 4th infusion. The hydrocortizone is a liquid form of prednezone, so if you react negatively to the pred. then that would explain some of your discomfort. I hope your doctor can help you out to settle down your symptoms. The evidence in your poop is not good at all. Your bowels are trying to protect themselves from inflammation. Hope things start looking up soon.:hang:

Thanks riversilt they're getting a bit better but still in pain and less mucus though so i'll keep plugging away with the infusions and watch my diet see what happens.
