My daughter is 6 she was diagnosed back in October 2011 and been having a rough time she is on 40mg of Prednisone, 1400mg of Pentasa, 50mg of 6-mp, and 9mg of Entecort...she just signed up for a CCFA walk in Billings MT and working hard to raise money...any advise would be great!

I posted a link to my CCFA page on fb. I have seen kids sell Crohns bracelets and I was thinking of a CCFA garage sale/bake sale to raise more money for our walk this fall. :)
My (then) 4 year old had a blast at her first one last year and got to meet her first friend with Crohns there!

My 10 year old is raising money and doing the Gutsy Walk put on by our local CCFC office. We have had tremendous success in online donations when both my husband and I posted a link to his Gutsy Walk page on facebook. Social media is a powerful tool for such endeavors. We also personalized his Gutsy Walk page with a little story about what he has been going through and a picture, I think that helps.

I am surprised at how much this fund raising has help give him a sense of empowerment. It has been a great thing for him to do. We are looking forward to the walk in June.

My 10 year old is also doing the Gutsy Walk put on by our local CCFC. We have also posted on Facebook, asked friends etc. I think we are going to go door to door tomorrow and next weekend we are having a garage sale, with the proceeds going to her walk.
