6MP and loss of appetite?

Has anyone taking 6MP experienced loss of appetite and queasiness? I've been on 6MP (100mg/day) for 6 weeks and this began about a week ago.

There could be other contributing factors, such as having begun to taper down on Effexor (anti-depressant), but wondered if anyone had experienced this from 6MP alone.

I'm assuming it's not a direct result of Crohn's - loss of appetite has not been a problem for me before.

I had spectacular vomiting with 6-MP - probably not what you wanted to hear!

Some people find its better to take it at night with some food. By morning they feel better and dont feel queasy all day long.

Not exactly, no -- but good to know, anyway.

I've been taking it before bed, but now I'll be sure to have a bit of food along with.

I cant comment on 6MP but Effexor is brutal to come off. I remember the shocks I got. Hope it gets easier for you!
