I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2011. First I was put on Lialda but that resulted in mayocarditis and landed me in the hospital for 4 days, not enough evidence for the doctors to say one resulted the other.
I then started prednisone and 6MP and weaned off prednisone in 3-4 months. I have been taking 6MP now for 3 years. My doctors say blood tests show little to no inflammation and regular vitamin d levels. Since starting the medicine I have noticed unusual tiredness but the last 8-12 months that tiredness/fatigue has gotten much worse. Regular blood test show nutrient absorption is normal. I am looking for answers or suggestions if anyone has them.
Has anyone experienced symptoms like this? No one wants to say that it is the medicine giving a side effect but I am not sure what else could be the culprit.
