Possibly cmack I just feel like I need to collapse before anyone is going to listen to anything although my last eau was only six days ago I will give it one more week and if not better I will my veins are all punctured atm it took six goes to get into a vein last eau anethist ended up doing it so I'm black and blue thanks guys banging you're head of a brick wall comes to mindI also tend to think more blood tests are a good idea.
Best wishes.
I agree.Amac,
I'm sorry to hear you are having such a rough time.
Make sure to keep pushing for answers. Don't try to tough it out, that can really backfire. You may want to have a different doctor examine you, a fresh outlook on things can make a big difference. If you feel terrible you should arrange to see a doctor, if you can't get in you may have to go to the ER. Don't wait until you collapse.
I wish you the best, keep in touch,
cmack
thanks kindly for the adviceIron is fine but how about the hemoglobin? If iron levels are normal that means you don't have iron-deficiency anemia. But you still could have the other major type of anemia - the anemia of inflammation or chronic disease.
IBD sufferers often have one or the other or both types of anemia.
will do cmack thanksHI Amac,
There certainly are many more factor than just iron. I still think you need testing to get to the bottom of what is causing this trouble. You are not an inconvenience, not at all. If a doctor treats you like an inconvenience, you need a new doctor. That isn't right for you to feel guilt about having difficulties. We all have tough times sometimes, it is OK to ask for help.
I hope you take what I said into consideration,
cmack
Are you undiagnosed dejavu dance? Totally agree I'm sure my veggies are not agree with me especially broccoli apples and possibly some others I love my fru it's and veg so I was totally flabbergasted I'm actually more a healthy eater than a bad eater I never eat take aways or anything processed or fried no cakes or biscuits either usually have oats in the morning I'v had so many doctors latley say things I can't get my head around last Friday after my eua I was discharged with a temperature no antibiotics were given to me and now I have pain bleeding and discharge one week later I didn't go today to be seen one because I feel like an inconvenience two because God knows what next on the plus I'm seeing the consultant on the 23rdYes there are many things that play a part in extreme tiredness. B12, iron and even Vitamin D. I find it hard to understand why this doctor would say that you aren't eating enough greens. I mean yes of course its quite easy to eat healthy when your bowels are healthy. But I have found that any raw vegis I have consumed have just caused more problems. So any greens that I get are of the overcooked variety and I realize that this process strips them of much of there nutrients. By no means am I an expert but I am starting to think the constant inflammation in my body is cause for much of my lethargy.
I also think that doctors think im a hypochondriac. I almost never even mention symptoms because im so tired of having them do tests and then telling me I have nothing wrong. I have learned to be stoic and just live with it and try my best not to feel sorry for myself.
that's terrible dejava dance I'm seeing my consultant this Thursday I suppose all the trouble I'v had has pushed me up the list so in one sence I'm luckyto be seeing him my last eua was done by a great doc who ordered urgent mri and colonoscpy so in the UK or Northern Ireland ivery been told 2 -4 weeks is urgent 8 or more for colonoscopy I suppose it depends on mri I had mucus and bleeding again at the weekend but didn't go to hospital just over one week later it's happening a lot since January I hope and pray you get sorted and I'm glad eliminating some foods is giving you some relief and I pray this is your summer one you can enjoy cause I feel the same keep in touch and thanks for your response xYes Amac I have yet to have a diagnosis. I just go from test to test and appointment to appointment and have been passed from a few doctors to others. It seems every test that is ordered I have to wait 6 weeks for and then another 6 weeks to see the doctor. My hopes to have treatment before the summer is rapidly diminishing. I have just wasted too many summers in bed already. I have an appointment with the gi doctor on April 26th to review my latest pill camera test. Crossing my fingers!
Nothing fried for me either. No raw fruit or vegis either and in fact no gluten. I have a 1 degree temperature so often I have for the most just ignored it. I now just associate it with inflammation. At least knowing this im not as concerned anymore. I have had mucousy bowel movements for years and bleeding for about a year. Many months it was so bad I couldn't see the bottom of the toilet, the water was so red. It has gotten much better and the fever by eliminating most foods. Its not much of a life but you have to do what you have to do...
I hope your feeling better and the doctor has some answers for you on Thursday.
