A lil venting

Ok guys....this SUCKS ass!! I am so tired of it!! My situation is newly diagnosed, but dealing with it for several years. I finally have diagnosis....YAY!! But Im having all sorts of issues. So, I hve a strep bacteria infection in my urinary track and they doc thinks its in my GI track too. It was diagnosed when I though I had a kidney infection. Ive been on antibiotics for 10 days....and its not any better. Well....the pain is still in my back and feels like kidney problems. The urine was clean for kidney infection...but I wonder can they tell if you have stones based on urine?? Or do I have to have some sort of imaging done?? Also, I have a stupid nail fungus now.....on my big toe!! WTH...NEVER have I had this....so when will it all stop?! Im so tired of it....my husband and family are gettin there too. Im just done.....and Ive barely begun. Thanks for listening!!

Hang in there Bev. We can all relate to how debilitating this disease can be and how tough it can be on your loved ones as well. Sometimes it feels like you just can't get a break and you would kill for just one normal day.

It's okay to vent and get it all out of your system. While your family may be supportive, we can understand in a way they can't.

Sorry to hear you are having such a rough time. I have days when it really gets me down, as it just never seems to let up, one thing after another after another. I just to try to stay as positive as I possibly can, although sometimes it doesn't work too well!

I hope you can take some comfort as I am starting to in this forum, where everyone has some real experience and understanding of what you are going through, and can be a (virtual) shoulder to cry on or somewhere to have a rant and get it off your chest.

Ha, welcome to my nightmare LOL. I have had kidney stones and they can tell somewhat with urine test to find out if you have stones but a simple xray shows more and how big. Dont let them get too big, getting rid of them is painful, I had 4 I know. I am still waiting for remission in 10 years, nothing. You made need to be on Flagyl for the fungus as it is an antifungual too. Drink lots of water, if the pain goes away you may have kidney stones. Let us know, sorry you are at the end of your rope, being there still done that.

Bev. You need a CT scan. If you have stones, they will show up even if they're little. I have one that is 1-2mm and isn't bugging me now.
