Alright....so I spent the night in the ER, never fun. Saturday night I wasnt feeling well, went to church on Sunday morning and then out to lunch. I had a little soup, one bite of stuffed mushrooms, bread and a few bites of salad. An hour and half after I got home I started having severe acid reflux...soI took Zantac for it and that made me sick. I started to vomit and kept going for 5 hours!! I couldnt go poo, but was violently throwing up every few minutes. Called GI told to go to the ER...so I did. I was so amazed at my service there, they treated me wonderfully. Id never had such great treatment in the ER. They immediately gave me something for vomiting (didnt work), then got me back to a room and gave me something stronger. That helped, then they asked questions. THey gave me pain meds and I was able to relax while I took 3 bags of IV solution!! They ran blood and urine work, and all came back normal, a slight elevated CRP level. They gave me the option to stay or go home. I came home, but before I left they dosed me up again. So I came home and slept and feel much better. Today, Im super sore all over, especially in my thoat and chest from all the acid I vomited up. Anyway, Im happy to report that this was my first time to the ER since diagnosis and they treated me much differently than they have in the past.
