This forum came about as a result of a member stating:

I think it would be neat to have a place where I could see what everybody is up to and it might encourage people to post more about other things in their life than just Crohn's. I feel like sometimes I update my "surgery" (in the surgery subform) thread or my "frustrated" (in the venting subforum) thread with updates about what's going on with me, even though they don't belong there. I'd like to have a place where that stuff "goes."

You're welcome to create a single thread in this forum that becomes a sort of personal blog or you're welcome to create multiple threads, it's up to you And if anyone comes up with a better name, we're also happy to change the name of this forum.

No Ben, we will not name it, "Things not about poop."

... just kidding. Are we supposed to reply to the posts in the "my life" subforum? I read yours, and you mentioned it was like a blog. What's supposed to go down? If it's a personal blog, do we really want to muddy the thread with replies? Do we comment via each other's profiles? SO CONFUSED

I think it should be up to each member. Feel free to comment in their threads unless they request otherwise in the first post.
